ANTIWAR.COM v. American Conservative
ANTIWAR.COM and American Conservative are very
different news sites than you commonly see. They
are not like NBC, BBC, or the New York Times. When you are reading news stories from sites like these you know your are reading a credible reliable source. These news sites have established they're credible and they have built a strong reputation. ANTIWAR.COM and American Conservative are sites that I have never read, seen, or heard of. Just from looking at the website they seem less credible and more bias. They generally have very strong opinions on various stories.
I think the fact that theses websites are not very popular or commonly heard raises an interesting question. In our society we emphasize fairness equality and many other characteristics. I think this is a factor to why these sites are not very popular. When we read or watch the news we do not want to have to wonder if our news is biased or contemplate if what we are reading is true. We want to know it is coming from a credible source. ANTIWAR.COM and American Conservative have very strong opinions on the topics they're writing about. These sites also have a very clear bias that is apparent when reading the articles specifically politics. Due to the fact that sites have clear bias and very opinionated pieces I think that is why most of the public has not heard of or read ANTIWAR.COM and American Conservative.
